Who would make this and why?

Fabian Fischer created the game to further explore the "trivia roguelike" genre, this time using a slightly more involved randomization process (see below) compared to his previous WikiArena.

Where do the quotes come from?

Quotes are retrieved from the amazing QuoteGarden API. The game then uses the authors' names as input for a secondary Wikidata query to find their descriptions and images.

Fun little game! I didn't find the guesses too difficult, but maybe I just got lucky on the randomizer :) Would play again. I could also see this being a really fun multiplayer game.

Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it! :)

It's true that some guesses can be quite easy given the context (someone talking film is probably an actor or director etc.). I didn't want to restrict the RNG much though in favor of maximum variation in the long term.

Did you see the difficulty modes in the top left (you can change them before your first guess) by the way? The hardest one doesn't allow a single mistake.
